War and Peace

War is the subject of this video: what war is, and the rules that govern war. We’ll be looking into aspects such as the role of the UN in conflicts and the consequences of war. And we explore concepts like interstate wars, genocide, ceasefires, and sanctions. So, what does the UN Security Council do? What is International Humanitarian Law? And why do they say that children are hit hardest by war? This video, created for Social Studies classes in junior high and high school, will give us some answers.
