North America's Indigenous Peoples

The Indigenous Peoples of North America is the collective name for the population already present in North America before the Europeans arrived. In this film we will learn all about them. We’ll start by describing their early history – how they lived, what their civilizations were like, and how they regarded nature. Then we’ll take a look at what took place after the Europeans came along. You will be introduced to concepts like wigwams and reservations. And we will round things off with an overview of the situation today for the Indigenous Peoples of North America.
