The Human Body: The Nervous System
In this film we look at the nervous system. The brain decides almost everything that happens in your body. It receives messages from the outside world and it also gets signals from the body’s internal organs. In this film, we learn about the cerebrum, the diencephalon, the cerebellum, and the brainstem and what they do.
We take a closer look at how nerves and nerve cells look and examine the central and peripheral nervous systems. The film shows their properties and functions, with a focus on the key role they play in the complex human nervous system.
